Surprise! It's love <3

Quill walked down to the palace gardens. She was enraged. She was only thirteen and her parents had already chosen who she would be marrying. He was the prince of a lesser kingdom, and had no right to have her hand in marriage.
"Quill dearest, Prince Conthor is here to see you." Her mother called.
"I'm not coming!" She said stomping her foot. Quill didn't like the idea of her parents choosing who her husband and king would be. She wanted to choose her king. He had to be handsome, strong, wealthy, smart, her list could go on for forever.
"Quill you must come." Her mother protested. Quill sighed, there was nothing she could do. Just say hello and then ignore him. Quill told herself.
Quill's mother showed Quill to the main hall of the castle where this prince Conthor was waiting. Quill didn't even look at him.
"Hello." She said bluntly.
"Good afternoon." He answered her with the same emotionless tone.
"Now how about you two go and take a walk in the garden." Quill's father said. Quill rolled her eyes and walked away.

Years later after many forced dinners and meetings, It was time for the wedding. Quill looked at her reflection in the mirror as the servants fussed over hr dress. It was a light sky-blue, almost white and flowed out around her like water. In her hands she held a single white rose. Her veil was attached to her tiara.
"I'm to young to be married." She whined. Quill was only seventeen. It was usually around this time the king and queen were supposed pick a husband or wife for their child. But nooo, her parents had to be different. The bells tolled.
"Time to go milady." Said one of the servant girls. Quill sighed. No avoiding it Quill. Just get it over with. She thought.
Quill walked out of her dressing room and out into the spring air. On her right, lords and ladies, dukes and duchesses and other high-ranking people of her kingdom sat. On her left were those of Conthor's kingdom. Even after all these years it was still smaller than hers. How could a prince like him live up to Quill's expectations? But she was in for a surprise as she walked up the aisle. Waiting for her was the most handsome man she had ever seen. He was tall and elegant with long silky chocolate brown hair that was tied up in a pony. That can't be Conthor! She thought. But as she took her place beside him, reality came over her. This was Conthor, and she had loved him all along. Even though she had ignored him and he had ignored her, she had watched him spar, she had daydreamed about him. Though she had thrown those thoughts and such away because her parents had chosen him and he seemingly wasn't rich enough for her. But now she realized it was because she couldn't accept that such a man would be hers. Conthor seemed to be thinking the same thing, and as the priest said "You may now kiss the bride." Quill had fallen in love with him and they lived together form that day on.
