Takananu. First post.

Mahogany was standing on a long narrow path. In the distance there was a door. She couldn't make out what it looked like form here so she walked toward it. She was wearing a long red might gown with spaghetti straps. The dress dragged behind her as she walked. Another add thing was that every time she took a step, a 'click' sound could be heard. As if she were wearing heels, but she was bare foot. As she came closer to the door she could make out more of its features. It was a old oak door, with golden vines entwining it. Then Mahogany stopped walking. She was now in front of the door. the gold vines seem to be alive and growing. She reached her hand out to the silver handle. The shiny metal was cool in her hand. Mahogany turned the handle and opened the door. She could not see what was beyond the door, so she took a deep breath and stepped through the door. At first the invisible floor beneath her held her weight, but then is shattered like glass and Mahogany fell.

Mahogany jolted up right, panting. She hated it when she dreamt that she was falling. She could still feel the ground tugging at her. Mahogany looked around. She was sitting down in a bed, but it was not in her room.
"What the..." She said standing up. But she fell back onto the bed again, her head spinning. It was then she heard the quiet hissing in her head. Mahogany crept slowly over to a mirror on the other side of the small room. She almost screamed. She had red snakes in her hair!
"Holy shiz! What the hell happened to me?!" She yelled, but she kept her voice down. the snakes just looked at her though the mirror. Then she heard a hissing voice in her head again.
"Your a gorgon now. Of course you have us in your hair." It said a-matter-of-factually. Mahogany just went back over to the bed and laid down. This was all to weird.

This *points up* Is the LONGEST post for a RP that I have ever written! I only noticed how long it was when I had finished writing it. This is my first post for a RP that I made called "Lost on Takananu".

Only the silver light the way (2)

Mahogany sat up. Where was she? She was laying in a very fancy bed in a very big room. There was a boy standing not to far away. He looked about seventeen and had waist long silver hair. Mahogany remembered him from somewhere. He turned around.
"Ah, I see your awake..." His voice was kind, but it seemed a little...hesitant.
"Who are you?" Mahogany asked. The boy came closer and sat in a chair next to the bed. His eyes were a beautiful mix of reds and purples.
"My name is Diamen Ninth. Remember me now?" He said looking at her with a very calm expression, but Mahogany could feel that something was bothering him. But she did remember him. That voice in her head last night had told her about him.
"What exactly are you supposed to do with me and who the heck was that voice in my head? She said that you and her were very close." she asked sitting cross legged on the bed.
"Well..." He began.
"Well, I not supposed to do anything with you unless you are in trouble. Right now you have some....Demons on your trial. They want the person in your head. Her name is Qeanin. She is basically your soul. Your subconscious. Ah, how am I possessed to tell you when ordinarily you should already know?" He tuned his head and looked up to the ceiling. Then Mahogany spoke, but it wasn't her voice that escaped her lips.
"Diamen, tell her about letting go. Then she will understand." Mahogany covered her mouth, shocked. Daimen looked at her.
"Okay. Here I go. You see, Qeanin is called a Shaden. She is another being entirely. Until you let her thought meld into yours. The way to do that is to just let go of every fear, doubt, everything and let her wander your mind. Once you let her become one with your mind, you will no longer be in danger. Do you understand? He asked, still sounding unsure of himself.

Only the Silver lights the way (1)

Daimen stood outside her window. Waiting. She should of been ready by now. The front door opens, a tall female figure hesitantly step out into the rain.
"What took you so long?" Daimen asked her. He had been worried, they both were to vulnerable to get caught now.
"I'm sorry. I-I just....." She clenched her teeth.
"She wouldn't let me take over her mind. I had to tell her as much about what is going on as I could. Its still hard for me to keep hold. You need to tell her everything when you can. Everything." Her olive green eyes glowing with a slight tint of violet. Daimen nodded and showed her to the car. She sat down in the back seat and Diamen turned the car on and sped away as fast as he could. She laid down on the back seat and Diamen knew he'd soon be dealing with a very cranky and confused teenage girl my the name of Mahogany Third. Sometimes he wished he was given a different human to guard.

School of Dark Fiends (2)

Twilight, Thane, Emily, and Kitty sat on the stone steps in front of the school. They could see the all of the carts and wagons bringing stuff for the teachers. Dr.Brian was walking with one of the wagons. Emily stood.
"I'll be right back. I want to say hi to Dr.Brian." She said and then she floated off to Dr.Brian's side. They exchanged a few words and then Emily came back giggling.
"He's still having a problem with his arm. He said that the diet that the doctors put him on isn't really working." Emily sat back down with them.
"What'd they put him on?" Kitty asked, her tail flicking back and forth.
"They said he should eat more babies brains. Though, he says that the human babies brains taste funny." Emily said and they all laughed.
"I agree with him. Baby legs taste better." Twilight said and Thane stuck out his tongue.
"I don't eat humans. I like all the other kinds of meat though." He said standing.
"Well, what do we do know? We have at least five hours until school is back." Thane asked smiling.
"We could go back to the fountain garden..." Kitty said also standing up.
"Sounds cool. Lez go." Twilight said, standing and walking back to the fountain garden. Kitty and Thane followed.
"Looks like I have no choice." Emily said and followed them.

School of Dark Feinds (1)

Twilight ran through the forest as fast as a hare. Today was the first day of school and she just couldn't wait to see Emily, Kitty, and Thane again. See was so exited she didn't see the troll until she ran into him.
"Ey, you wach it wolfy!" Said the troll. Twilight looked up rubbing her head. It was Jaken, the infamous troll bully. She stood up strait and brushed her shoulders off.
"Sorry troll. I didn't see you there, you blended in to well. Here let me give you some color." Twilight smurked and then jumped up and scratched his arms and face. Jaken screamed.
"How teh hell did you do tat?! When'd you learn tat cwrap?!" She turned around to where Twilight was standing behind him now.
"Oh, just a little something I learned last year. In the class you failed in." She stuck out her tongue and then continued to run to school. Twilight reached the old fountain garden that Emily, Kitty, Thane and herself used to hangout. It was overgrown with vines and weeds.
"BOO!" yelled a familiar voice behind her. It was Emily Crage the ghost girl. With Emily there was Katerina Kally, the cat girl, and Thane Seventh, the pure blood demon boy. Twilight ran up and hugged each one of them.
"It's sooo good to see y'all again!" Twilight said as the four of them walked up to the school doors.
"It's nice to see my favorite were-wolf again." Thane said picking her up.
"Ah! Thane c'mon out me down." Twilight said laughing. Thane put her down and kissed her on the cheek. Emily and Kitty giggled and Twilight gave them her 'he's my boyfriend' look. They all laughed and walked up to the two huge oak doors that were the entrance to the school.

Goblin (5)

Feather took a deep breath. Creating runes took lots of energy. Symbol returned to the book.
"Now, how do we 'keep' the rune? The magic is weak, there must be some way we can make it stronger..." She scanned the page again. Key walked over another book stand that stood up against the wall. On the front in faded golden letters were these words:
"The book of Royals past - Eht koob fo Slayor tsap"
Key opened the cover. She waited a few seconds to see if this book would flip to some other page, but it didn't. Before Key could read it, Symbol called her over. Key put her daggers on the open book and went back over to Symbol and Feather.
"Key, here it says: The warrior Key, same of the mother Joyen, must leave the castle, find the caster of written and save the king. Key our mother was named Joyen." Symbol looked worriedly at Key. Feather read over the sentences again.
"This means that you need you leave, find a caster or whatever that is and 'become' like our mother. She was a warrior, and you are one to. But how your a warrior I don't know. I thought you'd always end up as a spellcaster or something." Feather gave Key the same look that Symbol gave her. Then Key realized something.
"Feather, your a genius! Spellcaster, caster, I need to find a spellcaster. Quick look, is there any names on there other than Mom's and ours?!" Key ran her finger along the lines of the page, looking for another name, something that fit.
"Here!" She said pointing at a name.
"Thell Lethix. I need to find the caster Thell Lethix....How?" Key's exitement faded. Now what? Symbol put one hand on her hip and the other under her chin, this was her thinking pose.
"Hey, I know a spellcaster of sorts by the name of Thell. He might be the person your looking for. He lives on the outscerts of the city. In a forest cottage, with an old Oracle." Key went back over the books of Royals past. She took up her daggers from it's pages, they were light and seemed to glow with some forgotten magic. Feather put a hand on Key's shoulder.
"I'll get some travel stuff ready. The faster you help papa the faster you both can come home. But I don't know why we have to do all of this fancy stuff. But whatever it is, you'll be alright. Symbol and I will send out runes to Space. She will protect you on your journey." Feathers words were sooting and kind. Symbol nodded and went over to the door.
"C'mon, we've got some packing to do." She said this in a encouraging tone and left the room heading back to their father's chambers. Feather followed Symbol. Key stood there for a moment and looked around her. The rune on the floor glowed with a milky glow. She looked down at her hands, the daggers... They had been her mothers. Key looked back up at the door.
"Come on key!" Her sisters called to her. Key took a deep breath to clear her head, and went back into the hallway leading to her father room. She closed the metal entwined door, quietly behind her.

Golbin (4)

Page 980, just like the note said. Now this page was written in the modern tongue and looked like it had been sewed into the book not to long ago. Key stepped away so that Symbol and Feather could read.
"Look at the weapons on the rack to your left. Touch each one of them until you find the ones that seem to just be meant for you." Symbol read. Key turned around. There it was, a weapons rack with many knifes and other such sharp things on it.
"Wait, heres something else." Symbol said.
"Only the Key should take a blade. " Symbol looked at Key.
"I believe that means only you get a blade Key. Feather and I get something else." Key nodded and went up to the rack. She put a hand on one of the daggers. No connection. She touched almost everyone until she came upon two daggers. They were about as long as her fore arm, the blades curved around the hilt, almost like how a hand guard would. It just only went over on one side. Key took them off the rack and held them in her hands. Feather stood and looked Key up and down.
"They suit you. All you need now is some different attire." she smiled. Symbol shook her head and continued to read the book.
"Now, lets see. Where do Feather and I come in?" Symbol scanned the nest paragraph.
"Here we are. It says: Symbol, Feather. A Rune of such shall protect the castle walls." Symbol looked at Feather.
"It means we need to create a rune that has the signs of a feather and a symbol on it if we are to keep the castle safe." Feather said, she had always been good at that kind of thing. Symbol nodded.
"But we don't have anything to make a rune. What now?" Symbol asked.
"Read the book silly." Key said pointing to the book with one of the daggers.
"Ey, careful with that thing." Feather said. Key sighed.
"Okay, okay. Heres what we do next: To make this rune, take a bit of each ones hair, mix it in with the water in the basin in front of you, then draw the rune of Feathered Symbol on the ground." Symbol read. Feather whined.
"I knew I shouldn't have gotten my hair cut."
"Oh, stop whining. Its just a little bit." Symbol said. She took a small knife off of the rack and cut off a bit of her hair and then Feathers. She put the hair into the basin and mixed it. The water changed into a silvery liquid. Feather stopped messing with her hair and went over the the basin. Feather was best at writing runes. She dipped her finger into the mixture and started to draw on the floor. It took her a few minutes to finish it, but in the end the silver liquid shone brightly on the ground.
"Yam siht enur eb tsac dna evres s'ti esoprup." Feather chanted and the rune glowed. Then the rune burst into light and blinded the three girls for a second. When the glow dimmed the whole floor was covered in the rune.

Learning Goblin (a must read)

Just so my story has a little twist in it I thought I might make up a language, Old Goblin. It's really quite simple, all you need to do is spell the English word backwards. Like such:

English - Hello, I'm P-nut. I love to draw, write, role-play and many other things that include fantasy.

Old Goblin - Olleh, M'i Tun-p. I evol ot ward, etirw, elor-yalp dna ynam rehto sgniht taht edulcni ysatnaf.

You'll be seeing lots of this in my story. So, yeah. Remember it, for I won't be doing many translations! Oh and the words are said how they sound. Just for those might wanna know.

Goblin family tree

I thought I might put up a family tree for my story "Goblin" .
Its nothing big, it doesn't go all the way back. Just the people that are in the story.

The Royal Family Tree (ish)

Goblin King - age: 56
1st daughter, Bella - age: 25
2nd daughter, Flower - age: 23
3rd daughter, Melody - age: 21
4th daughter, Faith - age: 19
5th daughter, Symbol - age: 17
6th daughter, Feather - age: 15
7th daughter, Key - age: 13

Goblin (3)

They just stood there for a minute. Key was so confused, where would this door lead? How would her questions be answered? Shaking off her doubts, Key walked up the door. She put her hand on the cool metal handle. Key pulled the door open, with much ease surprisingly enough. Symbol and Feather followed her down the hallway. The hallway had been light by magic orbs floating in the air above their heads. The path seemed to go up in a spiral.
They came to tend of the passage, another door with metal vines stood in front of them. Key open this one easily to. They all stepped in to the room. It was filled with all sorts of items and knick-knacks. In the center of the room was a very big, very thick book resting on a book stand. Key walked over it as Symbol and Feather looked at all of the weapons and wands.
"Eht koob fo sgnik...." Key read aloud. She closed her eyes, trying to remember how to read and understand old Goblin. Then she remembered.
"The book of kings. Wonder whats in it..." Key opened the front cover, but before she could read what was on it, the pages flipped to the middle of the book. She scanned over the page. It was all written in old Goblin. There was a note on the page.
"Key, if you're reading this it means that I might still be alive. Go to page 980." Key read the note in her head this time. This was even more confusing but she did as the note said. Symbol and Feather came over to watch her.

Goblin (2)

Two hours. Still no sign of the king. Key picked a the grass. What was taking him so long? Symbol was braiding Feather's hair and her other sisters were either pacing or sitting down. A demon would be able to smell the panic and worry in the air, the whole situation was that bad. Just then, a messenger bird flew over the castle walls and landed at Keys feet. Key took the scroll that had been tied to it's back.

"My youngest daughter,
On my way home we were ambushed by humans. As you know, I took only my scribes and one guard with me, so we were easily overthrown. I was able to sneak this letter to before the humans could see. I know what I'm saying next will confuse you, but in time it will make sense. Go to my room, pull that lever I told you never to touch, then go where it leads you. Take only Symbol and Feather with you. None of your other sisters or anybody else in the castle is to know about this. The room in which the lever leads you will answer most of your questions. Instructions will be awaiting you there.

I love you Key,
Father.
"

Key read the whole thing to herself. Not letting sound escape her lips. When she was done she took the bird and stood up.
"Symbol, Feather, come with me." She said this softly as she didn't want her other sisters to hear. Symbol and Feather looked at each other, stood, and followed Key.
The climb to their fathers room was long. No wonder he wouldn't go up here unless he really needed to. When they finally came to the door, a forbidding feeling came over all of them. After a few seconds of standing there, Key opened the door. The lever was in the upper left and corner of the room. Key went over to it, Symbol and Feather followed hesitantly. Pulling all the courage she could muster, Key reached out and pulled the lever. It was heavy and in need of oil, but she pulled it all the way anyway.
One of the bookcases moved away from the wall and revealed a door with intricate metal vines entwining it.
"Whoa." They all said at once.

Goblin (1)

Key walked through the palace gardens. She was the seventh and youngest born of the royal Goblin family. Her almost white blond hair was up in a fancy bun that her second elder sister had done for her. Her eyes where a sharp and almost alive ice blue. Key might've been the youngest but she was still the tallest out of all of her older sisters.
Key smiled. She had always liked the fact that she was taller, like her mother. Her mother...Her mother had died in the last war against the humans. A brave warrior her mother had been. Now Key and her six sister lived and were taught by her father, The Goblin King. His real name he kept hidden for reasons Key would never understand.
Key leaned down to sniff one of the lunar roses. It's sent was strong and pungent, almost like a good stick of incense. It was amazing how fast the lunar roses grew without the presence of humans. Symbol called out to Key from her bedroom window.
"C'mon Key! A messenger bird came and said that daddy's on his way back and he has a whole wagon load of stuff that the Dragons gave him!"
"Awesome! I'll run to the front gate as fast as I can!" Key yelled back. As Symbol ducked inside Key picked a few lunar roses, a red tulip, and five sour flowers, and than ran to the front gate. She tied up the little bundle of flowers with a green ribbon form her dress as she ran.
When Key got to the front gate all of her sisters were already there waiting for their father to trot through the gate. Key joined Symbol and Feather, her two closest sisters. At first it seemed normal, but when Kay's father didn't arrive after an hour Key began to worry, so did everybody else.

A simple dance

Qeanin walked down the street, the soft light of the street lamps showing her the way. Then she finally came to the carriage that Thane had sent to pick her up. Thane had invited her to a ball that his grandmother had put together.
Qeanin stepped into the carriage. Her simple sapphire dress sparkling in the moon light. The ride to Thane's grandmother's mansion was short but Qeanin just couldn't wait.
"Oh, the joy of actually getting to dance with him." She thought to herself. She stepped out of the carriage and onto the brick pavement. Her hair was put up in a bun, and she wore an amethyst necklace and ring. The ring...That ring Thane had given her as n engagement ring. the wedding was in three months. What if his family found out that she was an Ah Fey? What if his grandmother didn't let them marry? Qeanin shook her head.
"Rid yourself of such thoughts deary. Everything will be okay. she reassured herself. Straitening her back and breathing deep, Qeannin walked toward to doors.
